Programming / Re: Animated Mouse Pointer - Need Development Help
« on: April 27, 2014, 03:18:21 pm »
Thanks Paul. I just sent it to you e-mail.

I have most likely the same dev env as Christian (mainly VAC 3.08). It
should not be much effort for me to compile AMPtr with access to the
sources.
Sources from Eugene Gorbunoff, direct link.

Eugene++, although I don't understand the mentioned requirement of eCoRT-Base.
I think the mentioned build of Animated Mouse Pointer should be tested against what exactly DLL of these:
Code: [Select]
appman.dll   │   34767│15.07.11│ 6:37a
ecobase.dll  │   18659│05.11.13│ 5:50a
ecoCalc.dll  │   25287│25.04.11│ 1:59p
ecolange.dll │   73140│30.10.13│ 8:09a
ecomedia.dll │  279794│05.03.14│ 6:23a
ecoxml.dll   │   91603│07.06.10│ 6:36p
esqlite3.dll │  535885│10.07.13│ 1:26p
esysinfo.dll │   93179│28.11.12│ 3:10p
ezip.dll     │ 2720590│20.01.14│11:36a
gostciph.dll │    4173│28.08.02│12:28a
ptrace.dll   │   20062│05.11.13│ 6:01a
rxgost.dll   │   42783│17.09.02│ 6:03p
sysglit.dll  │    8422│19.08.09│12:37a
wowpack.dll  │   71827│19.08.09│12:47a
is it linked with, and rebuild it without such a requirement, because neither of these DLLs are open source.

I make copies of the desktop icons and place them on the toolbar and then hide them from view on the desktop on the demo cd. I don't care about no bubble help for things since I just turn on the "Text on Drawers"  feature and works great.  I put all the program icons directly in the Programs folder; give it the same background as the desktop; assign a shortcut to it like "ALT-P" ; hide the menu for that window and have it opened maximized. It works for me but once again it might not have some of the small graphical flair that others have to have.

Sorry, didn't get it.

Eugene usually posts some cr*p to the news. But I agree trying to run OS/2 on an x86-based tabled PC (like Asus Transformer or Microsoft Surface Pro) may be an interesting experiment, if you manage to deal with UEFI using something like a generic UEFI-bootloader providing BIOS emulation (if there is something like that, and if it runs on a given portable PC). An interesting question would also be the video...

You can also get DLL libraries at http://dbanet.org/libs. They are mostly from the recent eCS.

I have finally managed to get a .trp file from one of our multi core boxes - attached below.  This is from Firefox 17.0.5 b2 and is the result of repeated attempts when saving an image using MB2 and 'save image as...'  As I said the image is saved but the browser just closes without warning.
Please open an issue on github. AFAIK bww people rarely read this forum.

Now I have to install the network driver.
To figure out what device is installed on your laptop PC, you may try running Veit's PCI utility with updated VID:PID list on it.

?I don't see the quoted message anywhere...?

Anyway, just cancel out of the installer on the first screen to get to the maintenance console.

To get to the citation source, you need to move and point your mouse cursor on the hyperlink that starts from Quote from: and that is located above the citation you need to get the source of, like this:

Then you may notice that the hyperlink has just become underlined, and the universal resource locator has appeared in the status bar of your browser, like this:

The universal resource locator (URL) that has just appeared is the reference of the hyperlink you've pointed your mouse cursor to, and that was previously mentioned. This URL locates the desired source of the citation.

Now you just need to click your mouse to get to the citation source.

Just use the built-in eComStation disk utility to wipe the drive. The manual should tell you how to do this, but you can access it from the Maintenance Console, "Disk" menu.

Alex,
I get the 'incompatible' message when it is checking the drive and before I can check the 'management' button.    I believe it is after one check 'I accept' and goes to the next screen and checks the drive. I was hoping to get to the 'management' button but it exits me out before I can.

Uh-huh, so I think I've misunderstood you; you want to compile the program to use it to control your ASIC miner which is connected to your PC via USB, don't you?

Well, then, that is reasonable :)

The USBCOM drivers are really very out-of-date, and I think they need some attention (at least support FT232, or even support every chip which driver is compiled into Linux kernel). BTW, Martin is awaiting for proposals of how to spend the OS2World Commond Fund money...
