Memdisk
« on: May 12, 2016, 09:11:41 am »
Does anyone have any links for getting Memdisk working on OS/2.

I do have a Memdisk image which works, although I need to change it, but don't know how.

Sorry John, just unzip it somewhere and go digging.  There are some instructions in the 'doc' folder and the is a demonstration in the 'exe' folder.  As far as I know those are the total amount of instructions available.

Ivan,

If you are familiar with MEMDISK, there is a cmd file in the image I'm using -

make_usb.cmd

tar -cf os2dir.tar OS2 LANGUAGE APPS
copy config.usb Boot\config.sys
del /qyz result\memd*
packfile.exe boot.pfs
memcfg result\memboot.bin < mcfg_usb.rsp

This fails after creating a number of packfile with this error:-

memcfg result\memboot.bin  0<mcfg_usb.rsp
MemCfg * V.K. * 2002.04.22..2006.01.23 * record version 11
Runtime error 110 at 00010B44 TID=1.

Any idea what's wrong?
