David's Doodles
« on: March 24, 2018, 05:16:54 am »
I decided to make a new topic and hope to eventually move my graphic work to this topic to make it easy to find for those who like even a few things I have done.  I call it doodles because I am just doodling around.

I just created some new mouse pointers and added my other set of pointers I posted a while back.

The wizard pointer goes good with npswp182.zip when using animated windows.

Added a couple more new pointers and made left handed pointers for the lefties out there.

Added a few beautiful women pointers for when you need a pick me up and need something nice to look at.  Nothing dirty.

I made a couple of more shadows icons for XWP and took what I think are the better ones and put them into one zip package.

The new target shadow icon stands out well.  Added one more shadow icon.

Some XWP boot logos.

Created some blue buttons for Styler.  Just copy to Styler's Bitmap\buttons directory.

Also, all you lefties check the mouse pointers column.  I added a few new and made a bunch of icons for the lefties out there.

A few desktop and folder backgrounds done in PNG's.  ArcaOS has no problem utilizing PNGs as desktop backgrounds.  I decided to do PNGs because for some reason, my ArcaOS was getting confused when using OS/2 bmps.  This does not exist when using PNGs.

I am moving my portal folders here so they are easier to find.  To use, dynamic icons must be enable for each folder you want to use them in, including the desktop.  Remember, XWP's shadow icon does not work when dynamic icons are enabled for that folder.  Thes PNG folder icons can only be used if you have ArcaOS.  You can use them how you want.  You can have a blue folder icon and when open it can be a empty blue bubble or you can use a clear port icon and so on.  I started some yellow portals.  Now I just have to find them.

The first set is the blue portal folders.

Okay, I pulled the previous icon package due to the wrong folder being zipped.  I have added even more new icons than were in the previous uploaded package before I removed it.  Lots and lots of new icons.

Created some new "glass" Styler tbkgnds and buttons.  Be sure to check the "scale the image" under the titlebar tab in the styler setup.

I had these posted, but waited until I had enough in the package to anounce this package.  These are brand new icons.  These are not found in the other package.

As you all know, I mess around with graphics, for better or worse.  Right now I am playing around with some new folder icons.  I wanted to give them a somewhat glass look which is hard to do with OS/2 icons.  Anyway, enough of the babble.  Here is a pic of some of my new folder icons for my system with the old underneath for comparison.  Also wanted to show some what some of the new icons I created looked like.

I have uploaded most of the glass blue folder icons I have created.  There is no install script.  Will have to be installed like the portal icon folders.  Once installed, one can switch between the blue glass and dynamic portal folders if one desires.  This is a work in progress when time permits.
