Synopsis:

When the program starts, it will prompt you for the names of up to four players.  Enter them in the text boxes and click "Let the game begin!" to continue on to the game.  If you don't select any players, the player-select dialogue will pop up again.

The Game:

Using the game should be self-explanatory if you know how to use a mouse.  There are three basic actions you'll use throughout the game:

1. Rolling the dice

A tough one. Click on the button that says "Roll".

2. Keeping/Unkeeping a die

Click on any die to "keep" it. The die will turn dark grey. (See How to Play Yahtzee if I've lost you so far.) You can also use the keyboard here, and press "1" to keep/unkeep the first die, "2" for the second, etc.

3. Selecting a hand

After any roll, you can fill an empty slot with the current roll.  The dice don't all have to be "keep"ed. Simply double-click on the desired hand. You may find the keyboard works well here.  Move the arrow keys up and down on the list, then hit ENTER on the hand you want.

To start a new game, select "New Game" under the "Game" menu.

To quit the game, select "Exit" from the "Game" menu.

For game rules, see "How to Play Yahtzee".
