There is a section here on InternetTV. Is there a way to watch tv via the internet on an OS/2 or eCS pc?

www.os2tv.com is a parked domain. It has nothing to do with OS/2.

There was a link to the site from a site on using Hauppage with OS/2(?). It was part of the USB/PCMCIA and tv cards discussion. They mention an OS/2 driver there but I never found it. I was referring to the section on 'internettv' that is listed and wanted to know if it was possible to use an eCS pc to watch internet tv. I will check it out more thoroughly.

There mentions ways to watch television over the internet using ones computer. I was wondering if it was possible on a eCS pc. Could one use Hauppauge for OS/2? I believe it was mentioned in the 'USB/pccard tv and OS/2' discussion.

That requires support of streaming (Most likely the lastest WMV) - I'm not really sure WV are capable of it. But if you've got the Win32codec package installe you can give it a go, and report back.

I've seen some sites on the internet which stream TV via Windows Media, those sites I've never managed to get to work under eCS or OS/2 with Warpvision. I've also seen some sites which use RealPlayer, and the same problem exists. And finally there are some which offer pre-recorded TV stuff on streaming Flash. Some of these sites work with the Flash 7, but since I often seem to have issues with the Flash 7 on my machine, those sites don't work very well. Also, some seem to require a newer version of Flash.

I have installed STTV002 and Cinema/2 on my computers. I am looking for ways to see if one can watch TV via the internet or some ways just to try them out.

Do you have a list of some of the places you tried?

http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=pcmcia+tv+card&category0=
Found some pcmcia tv tuner cards. Would any work with OS/2-eCS?

http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=pcmcia+tv+card&btnG=Search+Froogle
Used Froogle to search for pcmcia tv tuner cards.

It would be neat if one of them work with OS/2-eCS.
