Pete has done a great job with the Howto, and additionally, has done a lot of work helping to test and debug eCups to get it to the point where today, it is allowing users with printers that are unsupported by any 'traditional' OS/2 printer drivers, to print successfully :)

Thanks Pete!

Hi Paul,

my usual question: Is it possible to build a CUPS version that uses the old TCP/IP ?

It looks likely that it's possible.

I have CUPS v1.3.8 built, and Gutenprint mostly built - just leaves Ghostscript to be recompiled for TCPIP v4.  I can probably get that done in the next day or so...
