Title: LightScribe for CD-DVD Label Creation...
Post by: NNYITGuy on 2008.10.11, 02:22:23
Hello All,

I bring to the discussion table the topic of CD-DVD labeling.  I recently have implemented the LightScribe  labeling technology for clients that use Windows for their desktop OS.  I would like to use this same labeling technology for my eCS based systems.

Is there a solution for us that currently implements the LightScribe labeling technology for eCS?

If there is not, is there enough of a need to have it built for our eCS platform? The LightScribe website also offers a free SDK.  I downloaded it and saved it for a future look see, but I have not had time to look at it to see what it contains.

Best Regards.

I believe another user asked this not long ago and there was (is) an eCS solution that can do lightscribe but only for certain drives. I just purchased a LightScribe drive myself and I love it! Saves me from seeing my horrible scribble on my CDs :D

Hey Todd, I will have to try and find what the thread was. I did a quick search and I turned up nothing so forgive me, it's going to be a bit before I can get back to you with what it was.
