Here's the funny thing. I actually prefer many aspects to the OS/2 2.x GUI control layout. I miss the separated borders, and loved the clean look of the buttons. I've actually replicated the buttons for Styler/2 (the closest they had werent good enough for me)... and really enjoyed Nice OS/2 Enhancer's ability to draw the frame borders the same as v2.x's.
To me, that look always seemed cleaner and more powerful. It's funny - the differences in personal preferences.
