Title: New OS/2 - eComStation "commercial" video at youtube
Post by: Sigurd on 2008.11.16, 01:41:15
Hi,

inspired by Warpstock Düsseldorf I made a small video and placed it at Youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dL_6Z2q62A

This is what is looks like if I would try to make a commercial for eComStation 2.0   ::)

Hope you enjoy!

Enhancments to previous of my videos:

-the picture is stable
-no spoken comment
-only one music theme

Due to the fact that Youtube still reduces the quality I will place the video at Hobbes for download later.

Cheers

Sigurd

I like how you authored it with Windows Movie Maker :) The ultimate irony. Perhaps one day OS/2 will have good enough multimedia support and apps that we can actually use it to make media about itself.

Download flash 7  here: http://www.os2bbs.com/os2news/Warpzilla.html  . Remove flash 5 plugin and unzip package in your plugin directory. Execute flashinst.exe and restart Firefox. (Tip: don't remove flashinst.exe, its good to have there, cause if you upgrade your browser, you have to reinitialize flashplugin with it)

Enjoy youtube!

There are... it's just a lot of work...

The initial prep work for the finals, and either one or two of the final files was done on OS/2 (the other done on Windows as we were running late and needed to have as many machines running as possible).

Of course, it was all commandline...
