Title: Re-Install MPTS? --How to?
Post by: klipp on 2009.05.13, 20:16:26
RC6a, --- I inadvertantly un-installed MPTS, will some "kind soul" tell me how to recover from my "screw-up"?

thanks

Hi klipp

You could try Local System -> Install/Remove -> Selective Install for Networking and have the install CD ready in the cd/dvd drive.

OTOH: It would probably be best to run [installcd]:\ECS\INSTALL\MPTS.CMD as that should handle eCS specific changes.

Hey Pete, thanks for the response, in the meantime I did a new install as I couldn't make x:\ECS\INSTALL\MPTS.CMD work. Its so long since I'd used it, that I'd forgotten about the Install/Remove -> Selective Install for Networking option (which I'm sure would have worked)!  I'll try that option next time I screw up MPTS.

thanks again

No idea where you got that idea from, this will not work in any way.

Is the way to do it, and uses the eCS specific changes.
