We are p. .. .

Is there a driver for touch screen panels in eCS?  Is there any list of displays which will function in touch screen mode with eCS.  I am working on a POS system based on OS/2 and I have been interested in implementing a touchscreen option however older touch screen displays which work with OS/2 are very hard to find or extremely expensive.

Hi Robert,

you may find some information in the following threads (I only hope they open/display correctly):

Hi,
maybe you already know it, but there are two touch-screen drivers on hobbes:

http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/system/drivers/mouse/elotouch.zip

and

http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/system/drivers/mouse/touchware.zip

Moreover, you can find a (probably incomplete) list of touchscreens here:
http://en.ecomstation.ru/hardware.php?action=category&section=input

You should go through all the pages in order to isolate the touchscreens devices (look, for example, at CRS, Datavan and ELO entries, etc.).  According to the eCS.ru hardware database maintainers (http://en.ecomstation.ru/commentnews.php?id=1664), there should be 19 USB touchscreen devices recorded, while here (http://en.ecomstation.ru/commentnews.php?id=1607) it seems there are 9 who supposedly are non-USB touchscreen devices.

Also look at http://en.ecomstation.ru/projects/developer/?action=pos

Sorry if you already knew all this stuff.  I just wrote about what I was aware of...
