Title: Tired
Post by: Dennis on 2007.06.13, 04:19:42
I'm getting tired and frustrated trying to get eCS to reinstall on my laptop. Perhaps I should give up and go to windoze. But, no, then I would have to do twice as much work to create a system that's half as stable--if that--and only runs right when it wants to--which is seldom.....

This all started shortly before I posted 'Trouble with a capital T'

For tonight, I give up.

What is the make and model of the laptop that you are trying to install eCS onto? Have you checked http://www.os2warp.be OS/2 Warp site?   ???

I already had eCS up & running on this laptop--2002 Pentium 4 Mobile 1.7--when I tried to get rid of the eCS boot logo in less than a couple minutes. I was trying to find out which driver may have been causing the holdup when I got a trap 000d and could no longer boot the system either from the HDD or an archive. Also could not boot to a command prompt. I have been trying to reinstall eCS ever since--the past 48 hours or so...

This laptop was an OS/2 Warp 4 system prior to going eCS.
