Well, if you. .. .
Would be nice if Peter Weilbacher could include such plugin in his builds, especially Seamonkey as the plugin seems to work only in Firefox for the moment.
I have to admit that I never tested it with Seamonkey since I don't have it installed on any system at all; but the component is build based on MozDev criteria so it should work; but it doesn't, odd. But, please give it a try with the version attached to this message instead.
It's the new type of search plugin, with a .xml extension, that Firefox 2.x supports. SeaMonkey doesn't support it yet, only the older kind, with a .src extension and a separate icon file, usually a PNG or GIF.
I used SeaMonkey to go the site but it said it needed a browser that supports opensearch to install the plubin. :-\ 8)
Okey, then I guess that SeaMonkey will hopefully support the new standard soon; does anyone have an idea of the development path/timeline?
