Title: Installing eCS2GA on Acer One A150
Post by: melf on 2010.06.04, 11:17:59
Earlier described installs in this forum on Acer One A150 has been made by cloning. Today I managed to do it by my USB-CD (probably this has been possible on the RC:s also). Maybee it apply to other netbooks also.

Thing is it halts with messages of disklayout and SYS-messages and then halt. Ctrl-Alt-Del, doesn't make it proceed. (see bugreports here http://bugs.ecomstation.nl/view.php?id=2294 (http://bugs.ecomstation.nl/view.php?id=2294)).

But if you pull out the cord to the USB-CD before you press Ctrl-Alt-Del, and the reinsert it, install proceed very nice  You have to remember to pull the UsbCd out on every reboot and then put it in again when eCS has begun booting.  Install was except these problems, made without a glitch.
