Hello everyone.
First of all: Merry Christmas! :)
Second: I'm urgently in need of some older Firefox version that still had full printing support (I suppose it would be some 2.x.x.x version).
Does anybody know where to get/download it?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Hi Stefan, at least you'll find Peter Weilbachers here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pmw-warpzilla/files/Gecko%201.8.1/
But have you tried the Minefield 4.0 b8pre ?
Thanks a lot Melf :)
Yes, I tired Minefield 4b8pre, but this is on my mom's laptop, so I need something reasonably stable.
Minefield is "reasonably" stable for me, but not for my mom...
Cannot wait for 4.0 stable and for stable release of Flash.
FIY: These (absence of printing from FF and Flash) are just another current limitations of eCS :(
Firefox 2.0.0.14 is on the eCS 2.0 RC5 CD:
\CID\SERVER\MOZILLA\FIREFOX.ZIP
I am pretty sure that there is actually a later version of the 2.x series, and that may be on a later RC disk, in the same place. The one on the GA CD is a version 3.x, without printing support.
Another option, is to use eMozPrint. You can get that at: http://www.wdsibyl.org/en/Home/ (http://www.wdsibyl.org/en/Home/) I have found that it works great.

For those unaware of what eMozPrint is:
This utility helps you to fill the lack of some Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird and Seamonkey versions, which do not offer direct-print support under eCS or OS/2 - they just create PDF files.
eMozPrint scans the desktop for PDF files created by Firefox, Thunderbird or Seamonkey. When a PDF is found, eMozPrint prints this files automatically or offers a dialog to print this files.
Dunno if it's too late to do this, but I'd suggested in the past that the Lucide DLLs could be used to very easily enable printing in FF, simply by "passing" it the PDF and print request.
