Title: USB install ?
Post by: xchris on 2011.10.20, 23:46:25
Is there any utility (like unetbootin for example) that can put the ISO of the eCS
to a bootable USB? I know there is somewhere a procedure to do this, but its not
'automatic'..

thx in advance

Suitable instructions (albeit, with some changes probably required) can be found in the links in this post:

Hope that helps,
Rob

Tool, perhaps not. Instructions on how to do it, yes. Same links. Here's to the same thread with the exact question you asked:

Updated

It seems that section may be missing in the later revision of the document.

I am wondering if installing boot manager on it, creating a bootable partition, adding it to boot manager, and then copying the contents of the ISO to that partition would work...
