Title: easyPaint v0.0.1
Post by: miturbide on 2012.03.27, 04:59:51

Just a funny thing, there is another EasyPain 0.6.0 (http://www.os2world.com/content/view/20768/2/) (2011/04) that was ported to OS2-eCS.

Both seems very similar, but have some differences. Here are some screenshots.

I ported the "old" version of easyPaint and tried to contact with the authors. I added language support to the main code, a spanish translation, Windows and OS/2 icons and resource files... They never answered.

The "new" easyPaint seems a refactoring of the "old" easyPaint source code (Nikita Grishko is one of the authors of the old version and the new one).

Hello Salvador

Good to see you around here. I was only pointing out this funny thing I found, thanks for clearing it out.

I was wondering how hard will be to port an open source icon-editor tool and gave it OS/2 icons support so it can be a replacement for the OS/2 close source icon editor?
