Title: flash on firefox or seamonkey?
Post by: os2monkey on 2007.11.05, 05:53:25
Hi,
Innoteks flash player just mentions mozilla and IBM browser. Is seamoney or firefox supported as well? (or is there some other way of getting flash on those browsers).

Yes, it will work with Seamonkey and Firefox...

Download OS2MT (www.os2mt.tk (http://www.os2mt.tk)), run it, and install the version listed in the OS2MT program (newer version). If it lists two versions, then I THINK try the one named flesh7?? first. I've had success with one of the two v7 listed in OS2MT and Firefix/Mozilla crashes with the others. I believe it will install itself in a Flash5 directory, and identify itself as Flash 7

^ Last week I tried OS2mT to get flash7, it said it could not find the file. I donno about this week, but be warned, that may have disappeared from where it was hosted.

Anyone have an archive of it? (the r69 one that works with youtube and whatnot?)

Look at http://www.os2bbs.com/os2news/Warpzilla.html . This is the r14 patched and report itself as flash 9. I've used it for long and it works very well on youtube  and so on. I've had very little trouble with this version.
