Hi
I had contacted Raymond Westwater the author of "Writing OS/2 device drivers (http://www.amazon.com/Writing-Os-2-Device-Drivers/dp/0201522349)" book. My original object was trying to release his book to the public, preferable under a license that allow derivative work, but it can not be possible now since the copyrights are controlled by the publisher.
But he told that his office used to have a product called "C language wrapper for device drivers" and that he is willing to turn it open source. The issue is that he does not have the files at hand.
"C language wrapper for device drivers" is C language code that wraps the calls to the device driver subsystem, and therefore eliminates the need to develop code in assembler to implement a device driver.
If anybody ever got the product "C language wrapper for device drivers" and can send over the files please let me know.
Thanks
Oh yeah.
I have this book.
I'm very interested on this wounderfull peace of software.
