Hey all,
I've installed the most recent version of AMPOS/2 (Apache, MySQL, PHP, etc).
Apache runs fine as long as modphp.dll is REM'd out in the config file. Otherwise, Apache crashes and generates this in the POPUPLOG.OS2 (yes, same error twice):
------------------------------------------------------------
12-18-2007 18:53:39 SYS2070 PID 0086 TID 0001 Slot 00dc
R:\APPS\APACHE2\BIN\HTTPD.EXE
BZ2->PHP5.__safe_erealloc
127
------------------------------------------------------------
12-18-2007 18:53:39 SYS2070 PID 0086 TID 0001 Slot 00dc
R:\APPS\APACHE2\BIN\HTTPD.EXE
BZ2->PHP5.__safe_erealloc
127
The line (when un-commented) that causes it (from the config file) is:
#LoadModule php5_module modules/modphp5.dll
Any thoughts? All required DLLs are loaded and installed, I've also manually checked the PATH, LIBPATH statements in the config.sys file. Out of ideas...
Thanks,
Robert

An old copy of php5.dll is being loaded - check for duplicate copies of the dll.
Cheers,
Paul.
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the quick response. I thought about that, and checked. Funnily enough, I didnt check Drive R (checked every drive BUT R:) because I hadn't been using that for anything but swap space and large file storage (JFS). So, in checking again, I found an older copy on Drive R (perhaps from installing TOR/2)...
...and of course, that was exactly the problem! Sorry about that, and thanks again! Up and running!

I am new on this forum. I use OS/2 since its very begining. But few week ago I lost my computer and all backup in a fire. Everything is set back now except that Apache, mysql and php5. Some one put a simple way to install these software but this file gone in fire. I would apreciate greatly if someone can find this file for me. The file say step by step what to do to make apache, php5 and mysql working.

Here is the web site for AMPOS2 that contains everything you need. I think the most recent package gave me some problems, but I can't remember exactly which one it was.

In fact I have all the necessary software. What I am looking for, is a document posted a year or so ago explaining step by step how to configure httpd.conf, my.cnf, ...etc.
Note: There exist many eComStation users like me who doesn't have high skill level software and many great software are almost useless just because we canot configure them

Here is a step by step guide:

But the AMPOS2 package does the same thing and you don't have to worry about configurations.

Bouchard, I used the config files that came with either the AMPOS/2 build or Paul's, and didnt have to do anything for Typo3, WordPress, or Joomla (and two others I tried, who's names escape me at the moment).
I *think* I originally installed AMPOS/2 and then used the config and ini files from Paul's builds when I updated the original components...
