Title: Kompozer 0.8b3
Post by: Joop on 2012.09.08, 14:35:07
I have installed the program, it starts up. But I want to customize Kompozer to my needs, machine setup etc. For some reason the preference menu item is absent, in English and in Dutch. Any idea how to setup Kompozer properly? Dave, if your listening, thanks for the program, but may be you can give some hints or is this just a porting bug?

Basically all I did was build it. For the options you can use .07 or .84bpre to set things up how you want them, then run .83b. .84bpre is reported to be unstable which was why someone asked me to build this version. I'll try to find time to see why the options menu item is missing.
Another bug is colours don't work in source view but do work in split view.

May I add another small problem?

On my 4 core AMD processor box this version loads without problems but as soon as I try to open an HTML file it pegs all 4 cores.  I gave it time - half hour - before killing it and going back to version 0.7.10.

It does the same on single core and 2 core boxes.
