I've downloaded both ext2-os2.ifs and ext2_240. Reading the documentation included with both, it looks like neither is safe to use with eCS-2.0! Is this correct?
I only need the ability to copy files from Linux partitions into eCS partitions (read only) while booted in eCS.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I began to look through the documentation, why do you think it wont be safe for use with eCS 2.0?
Hi Saijin_Naib. Reading the readme.txt in EXT2FS_20070118 (which i believe is the newest) it states that it will "hang" any os2-eCS version using LVM! and that it crashes using FS_MOUNT and with this version those problems remain unresolved.

Ahh, okay, I grabbed the 2.40 version. Is the ext driver still under development? Maybe you can cross your fingers and hope the person who is maintaing it releases a LVM-compatible one that maybe supports ext3/ext4 :P
From what little information I've been able to obtain, it looks like the project is "Dead Meat"! I'm hoping someone has come up with a way around these problems.
Thanks for you're response.

Hi
Maybe your best way around this problem is to copy the files from ext2 disk to fat32 disk where they will be accessible from quite a few os's once a fat32 driver is installed in the os.
