Title: Scribus x QT4
Post by: djcaetano on 2010.07.26, 01:13:08

  Hi,

   I have been trying to use Scribus for some real work since the
latest updates but I am having some minor troubles. I could not
determine if they are QT4 or Scribus itself problems:

   - The properties window (F2 key) almost always is opened
outside the window. Very annoying.
   - Sometimes the mouse pointer vanishes when over Scribus window.
   - Whenever I try to change a spinbox directly typing a
value instead of clicking on those up/down arrows Scribus
just quits. This is the output:

[J:\programs\scribus]scribus
Killed by SIGSEGV
pid=0x0052 ppid=0x004d tid=0x0001 slot=0x00c5 pri=0x0200 mc=0x0001
J:\PROGRAMS\SCRIBUS\SCRIBUS.EXE
SCRIBUS 0:001e5451
cs:eip=005b:14f25451      ss:esp=0053:0012ee14      ebp=0012eedc
 ds=0053      es=0053      fs=150b      gs=0000     efl=00012257
eax=0012eec8 ebx=00000000 ecx=00000003 edx=00000000 edi=009a3b94 esi=00000001
Process dumping was disabled, use DUMPPROC / PROCDUMP to enable it.
[J:\programs\scribus]

   Anyone had the same problems or maybe should I look for some bad configuration
somewhere?

  Regards,

  Caetano

Hi Daniel,

   - Whenever I try to change a spinbox directly typing a
value instead of clicking on those up/down arrows Scribus
just quits. This is the output:

[J:\programs\scribus]scribus
Killed by SIGSEGV

This one is a known issue - haven't had time to investigate it yet to determine if it's a Scribus or Qt issue....
