Atheros did this 2 years ago :) Hasn't helped us yet.   I wish I had the sources for a functional wifi adapter in OS/2 (like perhaps the ibm high rate drivers) because porting the atheros driver (and most likely the broadcom as well) would be fairly simple.  I haven't coded a device driver for OS/2 in years though, would have to make a whole new build environment for it.  I know we are limited on developer resources but if this doesn't get done then we are basically saying not to even bother using eCS on a laptop, which is really sad since it runs very very well on my T500 (still trying to get it to resume from suspend however).
