Title: How to enable SNMP on OS/2 warp4
Post by: ztormhouse on 2011.05.31, 17:13:01
Hello,
I have some difficulties with the deployment of a SNMP monitoring program. There is a computer on OS/2 Warp 4 on the network and I don't know how to enable SNMP on. I add that the presentation of the TCPIP configuration isn't the same for my OS/2 and the documentation i founded (I don't have SNMP tab).
An idea someone?

(Sorry if my English is bad  :-[ )

First, install SystemView. Then, you'll find the configuration tools for SNMP installed. Haven't played with this stuff in ages, so, I apologize I cannot walk you through the steps. You may also be able to find SNMPINST.ZIP which you may find helpful.

There are other SNMP agents available for OS/2 as well, though I cannot recall their names off the top of my head.
