Title: VirtualBox 1.5
Post by: Robert Deed on 2007.09.14, 04:33:54
That was the worst excuse for English I have ever read.  Really don't care about virtualbox unless they release an os/2 host which will never happen through innotek, who will most likely never release another os/2 product.  It is sad that they released a connectix product as an os/2 host and they don't even offer their own.  Not that they even wrote virtualbox.

Hi,

Though Innotek may have made a poor translation - so what? Not everyone speaks English. It's a big world.

Anyway, you may have wanted to check out the already established thread on this exact subject - in which case you will find that your claim of there never being a version for OS/2 will also be put to rest.

I understand your frustration in (thinking - erroneously) that there wont be an OS/2 release. I dont understand your assumption or stance of not caring since it is software that can be ported - especially if it is already done on the Linux platform... nonetheless, I dont understand your somewhat nasty gripe about the post's wording. Especially since you have been in these forums long enough to encounter numerous other people for whom English is not their native language.

So to sum up, while your posts regarding OS/2, etc - for or against, are appreciated in this forum, you may wish to better choose your wording (or choose none at all) regarding something as obviously simple as German translated into English by someone for whom it was not their first language.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation with that matter.
Robert
