Title: [SOLVED] Firefox 10.0.x does not start
Post by: fvanzeveren on 2012.06.16, 09:27:16
Hello everbody

I am currently running firefox 4.0.1 and would like to "upgrade" to the latest unoffical port 10.0.5.
I downloaded the archive and extract it into D: drive. I have therefore a new folder D:\firefox\.

When I double click on the firefox.exe file, the "Properties" dialogs opens... and that's it...

Did I missed something in the installation?

Thanks for your help.

François

Thank you !!!

THis is it!

THe README.OS2 file in the archive should be updated as it only mention libc063.dll... and not the newer versions.

Thanks a lot!

Try to run the application that behave that way from the command line.

Firefox 10.0.5 then complain that it can't run because of the missing LIBC65. ( though it leave out ".dll" from the text)
