Title: UPDCD and WARP Update Kit
Post by: PAUL555 on 2008.02.15, 19:36:14

Has anyone used UPDCD and Warp Update Kit ? Will it work with OS/2 Warp 4.0 and make the CD bootable so that Warp 4.0 can be installed on new hardware ( similar to ecomstation ) ?

 Regards

I've used Updcd to create updated installs of Warp 3, Warp 3 Connect, and Warp 4.  They work well, will install even on the latest hardware.

I made a Warp 4.52 disc that seems fine.  UPDCD seems to have trouble with app integration when it's an app that is newer than UPDCD is (ie. newer versions of Seamonkey).  I ended up tossing some apps in the TOOLS folder and then just installing them separate at the end.  It's still nice to have them on the CD though.
