Utilities / Installing new fonts?
2010.02.11, 17:59:51
How does one go about installing new fonts? I have a couple of ttf fonts I want to use.

Despite their best efforts, OpenOffice still has trouble keeping up with MS ' file formats, especially the OOXML format that the new versions of Office use. It's not just an OS/2 thing.

I did that and the sound didn't work until I went to Programs-->Multimedia--->Volume. I saw my laptop's speakers were off. Once I turned them on, everything worked.

The link on the front page to QT4 GA is wrong.

It should be:
ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/qt4/4.5.1-ga/

Hardware / Re: Orinoco wifi

I think this little laptop has bigger issues so I wont push it anymore. I did install eCom on a Dell Inspiron and the genmac driver worked great with my broadcom wireless.

The driver seemed to install and it shows up in MPTS but the card doesn't work. I suspect it's not the right driver or I am a dumbo or something.
