What CPU and memory size?

Have you updated the ibm1s506.add to the danis506.add (from hobbes)?

Are you using the advanced setup route?

Since this is v4.52 has it set the LVM information on the drive?

In other words please give us as much information as you can.

ivan

My CPU is a Pentium III at 733MHz.
384MB/100MHz RAM.
Maxtor 93652U8 HD
Maximum Multi-sector transfers
SMART Monitoring enabled
4 PIO, 2 ULTRA DMA
TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652M

I haven't updated the ibm1s506.add to the danis506.add.  It seems the Hobbes website has been offline the last few days.  How would I go about creating floppies to boot from?  I've read about updating the driver, just unsure the best route to go about doing that.

It didn't give me an advance setup prompt, however, it seems to be since I'm setting things up manually.

It has setup the LVM information, it shows my partition with my drive letter as C: and type as HPFS with 2GB HD.

I hope I've provided enough information.  If you need more, just specify what you need.  Thanks.

Sincerely,
Jon Justvig

Setup & Installation / Install OS/2

Hi all, I'm having trouble installing OS/2 v4.52 on my system.  OS/2 is the only OS I want on my system.  I have a Maxtor 34GB HD.   I set my primary disk partition to 2GB.  I select accept volume and the HPFS.  I get to the point of "Formatting Fixed Disk" with the OS/2 Warp installation program.  The progress bar reaches 100%.  It says on the screen that it's loading the system files and just sits there.  After about 20 minutes I reboot and try again.  Any suggestions?

Sincerely,
Jon Justvig
