Many Thanks

Will have to venture up to the loft this weekend and find some floppies!

Remember BeOS took weeks to get working, but it was worth it in the end. Hopefully, OS/2 will be quicker.

Thinking about it, this was the error I got when trying to dual boot OS/2 with Sam linux on one of my other machines.

Hi

I am a Linux user, and have fancied trying OS2 for some time.

I have an old Compaq Deskpro, running XP, which cost me next to nothing of e-Bay. It runs XP very well.

I have a copy of OS2 V3 CD/floppies, and can not get the install to start, either in windows or from the DOS prompt. Alt-Cont-Del just re-starts XP, not the install disk.

I am not bothered about losing / damaging XP (we have not used Microsoft software for several years, and have no intention of starting).

Can anyone give me some advice.

Many Thanks

Steve B
