Hi, all.
I have a Buffalo LUA3-U2-ATX USB ethernet adapter.
This chipset is ASIX AX88772.
It didn't move in my OS/2 Warp4.5, if it's eCS, is there a driver?
I know that there is a driver for Kawasaki KLSI5USB101b and MOSCHIP MCS7830 chipset.
But, goods using these are acquisition difficulty in Japan. :'(

You have a old Z!.
BTW, Z!'s HomePage is 404 not found.

Z!. New update fixes the internal shoutcast search function and fixes screen problems in winxp. From Dink.

QuoteeCUPS Daemon

This calls program CMD.exe  with parameters

/c Detach E:\CUPS\sbin\cupsd.exe

Is this startup object wrong?  How should I fix it so that it starts automatically?

Me too, I'm not able also to start cupsd.exe.
I am using the cmd file.
If the syssleep function is not used, it ends without permission. :D

/*cupsd.exe start cmd*/
Call RXFUNCADD 'SysLoadFuncs','REXXUTIL','SysLoadFuncs'
Call SysLoadFuncs
'@echo off'

rc=directory('e:\cups\sbin')
Call SysSleep 12
start' /min cupsd.exe'

exit

Hi.

Open "D:\cups\sbin" directory.
Run cupsd.exe.
Connect http://localhost:631/

You see the HowTo-eCUPS site(http://svn.netlabs.org/ecups/wiki/HowTo),please.

I'm in trouble, too.
I don't mind buying eCS. Because there is no eCS Japanese edition GA. :'(
To see Youtube by OS/2, use Gnash ?
Is there a YouTube plug-in of Gnash ?

I'm sad.
Thanks for great works, Paul.

QuoteTry editing \cups\lib\cups\filter\pstoraster

Change the line that says:
GS_LIB=${prefix}/lib
to
GS_LIB="${prefix}/lib;${prefix}/resource/init;${prefix}/resource/font"

I can now use 'lp article9.ps' and get a successful print to my default printer Smiley

Hi, Paul. thanks work.
I copy & paste ' GS_LIB="${prefix}/lib;${prefix}/resource/init;${prefix}/resource/font"  '.
but, I can't print it. :-[

Cups's Printers page info ' Photosmart_2575 "No %%Pages: comment in header!" '

QuoteAs I thought - a japanese font needs to be installed.

Try unzipping http://download.smedley.info/gs-japanese-support.zip into your ghostscript directory - overwriting the cidfmap that's already installed.

With that, I get the correct output in gsview
OK I can reproduce this problem - will see if I can fix it.  I suspect a Kanji font needs to be installed......

Very thanks, Paul.
Unfortunately, I couldn't print article9.ps.
  run 'lpr -P Photosmart_2575 e:/gs8.00/vflib/article9.ps' and Reprint job in ecups jobs page.

QuoteDo you have an example DBCS file I can experiment with?

http://www.ipc.shizuoka.ac.jp/~sctokab/UNOFF/gs800-j-vlib-os2.zip
gs8.00/vflib/article9.ps

Sorry. I don't know whether article9.ps is the best file, but it's the file which is many used.

article9.ps's Picture.

QuoteNot sure exactly what you mean here. eCUPS is using the latest GPL Ghostscript v8.70....
I'm sorry. Paul.
Please wait for an example DBCS file.

I can't print a DBCS file.
A Ghostscript Japanese edition stops at gs8.00.
I edited the PREFIX. but a gs8.00 Japanese edition & eCUPS can't print a SBCS file & a DBCS file.
Is there a way to print a DBCS file in gs8.70 & eCUPS ?

Very Thanks Mr.Paul Smedley.

However,  Setting screen on the browser changed Japanese > English by hplip-3.9.12-os2-20100218.zip.
