Setup & Installation / Problem with Installation at 4GB-RAM
« on: 2008.10.01, 20:11:06 »
Hello.
I have a problem with my new Hardware.
I have a Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 (Chipset AMD770/SB600) with 4GB-RAM (Kit with 2x2GB).
I can Install (RC5) only with one 2GB-Module. If 4GB built in, the installation gos all correct until the first reboot. The system starts, I see a very short moment the OS/2 box at the top left end and then restart the computer.
When I built in one RAM-Module (2GB) the installation was o.k. After the installation I built in the other RAM-Module: the same error with restart.
Have anyone an idea?
So long
Rolf
P.S. Sorry about my bad English. I hope you understand my question.
