Setup & Installation / Corrupt OS/2 Warp 3 Install Disk, how to replace?
« on: 2009.08.03, 03:15:04 »
Help! I have OS/2 Warp 3 (Red Spine, not the Connect version) where the Install 3rd Install Disk labeled as Disk #2 is corrupt. I thought the disk was bad, because its format could not be read by Windows XP so I tried to use Norton Disk Docter to repair, but instead I wiped out a good disk. This version comes only on Floppy 3.5" and no CD, so I can't restore the image from the CD since there is none with this version. I have not installed OS/2 yet, and can't until I can restore the data that was lost on disk #2. I am unemployed so can't afford to purchase a newer version at this time, only want to get the version I have working first. Can anyone help me with a disk image or a replacement disk? I used to use OS/2 at work, but now I want it on my home computer. I need to restore the data on the original disk which as it turns out is still a good disk, with the data mistakenly erased by Disk Doctor, then I can install it and start using OS/2 on my home computer.
