Hello All,

I've hesitated before asking the question, but: shouldn't be the source code available too for download && for being built by the brave ones ?  ( I mean platform OO code, not WPS integration and other extra).
I've checked a little on OpenOffice.org and found nothing.

Thanks!

Radu

There are many applic. .. .

Hello,
Eclipse would be good.
The problem is that new Eclipse versions start using Java 1.5 features... That is bad news for OS/2 as as far as I am aware there's no project to port Java 1.5 to OS/2. The last native one we have is v1.4 from Golden Code.
I think they would have let the community know if 1.5 or 1.6 was among their plans. Even with main source code available, I think porting java would be a relly huge task (similar to OpenOffice I'd say). That's expensive, so if no big money are thrown in (ie big company needing it) I think it will be really difficult to have it.
