Hello,

In responce to what you've written: Ehhwww.. try TCP Config instead, a great tool that should be included in eCS ASAP as it really make a difference, it can automagically (yes, magic) do the changes so you don't have to restart the computer (at least it tries to).
You don't have to change those things by hand :-)

Could it be that the file that the changes are written to is marked readonly and as a result, his changes aren't saved.  What file are the changes written to that can be checked for this attribute?

More than likely the drive has to be made a compatibility volume.  This can be done by going to

Local System >  System Setup > Logical Volume Manager

Once you have started the LVM, do the following:

Click OK to any incorrect partitioning.  This is nothing.

Next select from the menu

Volume > Create Volume > Create Non-bootable volumen > Create Compatibility Volume

Save.

If all goes when, you removeable disk will be recognized.

This probably won't happen with eCS 2.0.  eSchemes still isn't far enough along for prime time when one must consider support tickets.   Just look at the eCS bug tracker on eSchemes.  Nothing is getting fixed fast. That is why eCS won't come with the full XWP.  Anything included must be proven reliable to reduce tech support.  That was why FAT32 was not included in some of the releases of eCS.  However, now FAT32 has been fixed to the point where it is reliable, I would expect to see it in the next eCS rc5 release.  It is my understanding from reading the support tickets that this will be the last RC release before it goes Gold.

If one wants to see what is going on,  got to its bugtracker and read the tickets.

Hello David,

Many thanks for the reply. I could find no driver on the Lenovo site but did download the legacy driver from the Intel site for the pro100/pro1000 (an on-board NIC). I installed it using OS/2's network adapter service. After re-boot, still no connection.

This is frustrating given I had it running wonderfully before. Wished I kept notes.

Mark

Did you install the protocols with the driver? The one you need is IBM TCPIP.

It can be found at Netlabs Incoming also.

ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/incoming/swtos2_20080618.zip

However, this zip file appears to be bad also.

I use old Photoshop Elements 3.0.  I tried 4.0 and thought it sucked.  They removed the file browser from it. This is the one feature I must have.  Adobe lost a customer.  I have Paint.net downloaded, however, I haven't really messed with it right now.  I use the things that I am familiar with which helps speed up the creations I do.

Like midnight, and how you did a transform on my spikes wallpaper :) Never thought of that, it looks pretty cool that way!

Shadows is really slick too :)

Twilight reminds me of a Halloween skin or maybe a Trekkstor skin :P

I still haven't quite figured out how you did the spikes in your scheme.

Yep, I could have named the twilight Halloween or trekky, but I did not want people to think it was only good for the holidays.
