OS/2 Warp Unleashed pages 101/102 have some explanation on Recovery and Choices.

Is it possible to use the keys "V" instead of "F3" and "M" instead of "F4"?

Is \OS2\BOOT\ALTF1.CMD present and correct?

Is \OS2\BOOT\CONFIG.X present and correct?

Hardware / Re: Driver for ITE8888

Ecomstation 1.2 and 2.0.  I think the bridge has a "transparent" mode that allows it to function without a driver, I am just assuming that to be able to change the I/O recovery time setting for 8-bit I/O cycles and 16-bit I/O cycles as I had previously been able to do so via BIOS setting would require a driver to now perform that configuration on this Ite8888.

See http://www.costronic.com/IT8888.PDF for the datasheet.

It shows that the 8-bit I/O cycles and 16-bit I/O cycles may be controlled by the Memory Top/IO Recovery register setting. It could be done by writing an application program that accesses the OEMHLP$ device driver.

http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/util/misc/pciutils_2.2.3_os2_dos.zip may do the trick.

I've wondered how to easy transfer files to my ftp-server and use it like a drop-box. Tried with netdrive, but with various success. There is probably several easy solutions, but today I found my. In the templates folder >>Internet Templates, there is an object I never noticed before, called "FTP Host". Just dragged one to my desktop and filled in host, remote directory, username etc. Now I can just drop a file on it and its transferred to the proper place. Nice and easy!

This was new to me too. You can double click on it and its remote content appears in a map. When you then double click an a map in that map than its remote content is shown as well. You can drag from and drop into such maps.

A file of 252Mb is a bit much to fetch just like that for (a) font(s)?!.

I found that barcode font at http://www.tut-vse.ru/ttf/Fonts/

cp850arial.gif shows the characters and cp850bcode.gif shows the barcodes on my OS/2 Warp 4.0 NL system.

May be you need to look into the \MPTN\ETC\RESOLV2 file since it contains nameserver ip addresses.

nameserver 139.7.30.126
nameserver 139.7.30.125
