Hey Ben,

Hey Ben, Do you have the configurations of a AIR CAR (Star Ship) that will endure "inter-galactic" travel if needed.

Hello Houston!
Do You Think We Have A Problem!  Roll Eyes Cool Roll Eyes

Surely, we do...

saborion2, you are quite right in pointing out the casual throwing away of immense amounts of money in these space program "crashes", while people starve today, all around the world.

Where is humanity?

This crash provides you with another clue as to what the world is really like, rather than the cartoon drama of pre-chewed pablum that we are given by our "best friends" and "father figures" on the television who are to be trusted completely, even to our demise.

Just an observation; and, actually what came to mind was not the Apollo incident per se but the fact that both United States (our country) and the Russian Federation are purportedly playing a role space exploration and here we are at the terrestrial level with (from all appearances) Russian military forces not upholding (adhering to) the "Geneva Convention". So, by extension what are we to assume (since from all appearances it is now "oil") when it becomes the question of "oxygen" (air) for all the space dwellers. Never mind the accident causing "debris fields" to be created by
Quote"those illegally trading air (food...) on the dark side of the moon".

Perhaps, it is time for the OS/2 Source-Codes (with NASA's blessings) to be transferred to the OS/2 World Federation after all.  ;D ;D ;D

Besides why endanger "other life forms" that you yourself cannot create in a test tube.  ???

Go Boldly for it KIM!

Kindest regards,

SAB

someday os2 will be ruled by the young and famous-at least in the open-source world!

Greetings, saborion2.

The trick is to keep you looking outside, indeed even off planet, when we should all be looking inside.
That way we are sure to never find anything of value.

And what is it about the elite anyways, that they want to get off planet soooo badly? I don't know anyone on my block that has that as a high priority. And a lot of my family worked on/with the Apollo program and a few still work at NASA today.

The drama is to unfold on a world stage as a cliffhanger... to keep you all distracted... looking at the right hand in front of your face so you don't see what the left one is doing behind your back.

We'd need to work out a few bugs first... though not as many as with other, lesser, OS'.  :D

Well, that way they can own, in every way, shape, and form, the things that they make in, and come out of, a test tube.

Though look around you and you'll find that they are, at this very moment, patenting the formulas for every living thing on this planet that they do not all ready own. This has been well written about in the science rags.

Ah, yes... the movie based on the Harry Harrison novel "Make Room, Make Room" and starred Charlton Heston, who recently died.

That would be the movie "The Day of the Triffids", based on John Wyndham's novel of the same name. There were actually two done if I remember correctly, one in the 60s and one in the 80s. One was total crap... the other one only smelled like it.

*ponders* ... and didn't they make an equally crappy TV series out of that?

The book was better... though all are parts of the distraction...

Ah, but It all sounds a bit too Imperialistic for me.

"Beam me in," Scotty.
