Is Flash 10 a "Dead Issue" or is there still hope to eventually see the "imminent" release?

Well, you can really wonder..Mensys talked about a beta-release to come out two weeks after the eCS2.0 release - and the problem is not that this release is not there. An upcoming OpenOffice releaese was also announced, but I can see nothing of that AND can't hear anything either. The problem is that Mensys do not communicate.

It would be enough with a message on the ecomstation homepage: "Flash 10 is delayed, expected release bla bla.." I think most people understands delays - but they want to know about that.

Any comment from Mensys is wellcome!

OpenOffice 3.2.0 is coming. I tested a first version (very stable and some OS/2-bugs are solved).

As with everything delays because of the vast amount of work that goes into stuff being done. Right now we are also busy with large customers that have a need for eCS.

No it has nothing todo with large customers going first and end users not getting support. Infact we have a large customer that will most likely need Flash on there desktop, so.

We are busy pushing along the NIC driver development and updating Danis506.add.

Delays are fully understandable, and also that certain priorities have to be made. But when a release have been announced by someone from Mensys, even though it is in a forum posting - it has to be followed up when not released. Just a little note on ecomstation.com about delays would prevent rumors and save time for you as you don't have to do postings like this. Your work on eCS is really appreciated and frustrations over delays and so on is in fact a proof of that.

You are right. But as I type this a test installation is running, we are debugging a kernel trap right now in parallel.
And somebody else is working on the Germen version. In about 20 minutes I will switch to processing bug reports and support tickets. A day is filled up pretty quickly.

I suspect that the Flash 10.Security.Update.of.the.week scenario (constantly updated/changing code) doesnt make things easier either.
