For all you dual booters I found a great plug in for Firefox: http://www.foxmarks.com/

It stores you bookmarks and passwords on a server, allows you to sync between different computers, you can even look at your bookmarks from a public computer.

Ben

If you don't mind all your private data and "passwords" being stored on "someone else's" computer, I guess you could find it useful.

But keep in mind that if you make your "private information public, then you have, via your own actions, devalued yourself by negating your own privacy, a word that seems to have lost its meaning.

Also, using this service would also break the cardinal rule of passwording; Tell no one.

You have to admit that it sounds like a bad joke at the user's expense.

Caveat Emptor! Latin to English: "Let the buyer beware".

Paraphrasing for clarification; your intelligence is your main defense against those that would deceive you... and they number in the hundred's of thousands, if not in the millions.

If you are getting something for free then it is, by the nature of the word, valueless. And in supplement, what are they gaining by providing this service for free? Are they doing it out of the goodness of their hearts? Quite to the contrary.

Caveat emptor, Caveat Emptor!
