Hello all,

This is a desperate attempt to locate BonusPak for OS/2 Warp V4. We have 2 * IBM3995 C28 (Optical Jukeboxes) which are controlled by OS/2 WARP. I need to install Anynet capabilties (MTPN, MPTS) to run SAN over IP for these Optical Jukeboxes to talk over an IP network which no longer supports SNA ? To do this is appearntly ned components of OS/2 only located on the BonusPak. We no longer have ALL the Original distribution disks.

We have contacted IBM and our Account Manager is trying to locate them within IBM and for over 5 weeks now has been unable, even within IBM ????

ANY help would be most appreciated.

This site is a breath oif fresh air, great to see so much communication is available on OS/2 as great OS in my mind....Anyway.... Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

given the assumption you're talking about the BonusPak which was included with Warp4 back in the 90s, then... well, it may sound stupid perhaps, but... have you checked at eBay?

You might only need a OS/2 Warp v. 4 "blue spine" which includes the BonusPak - usually this is stated in the articles decsription as well, if not just contact the seller and askif the BonusPak media (1 CD-ROM) is contained.
As you said that you don't hold "all" media anymore I guess you only lack the BonusPak media, right? Should not be a matter of licensing questions then... note: there is no such check a la "CD Key" or serial number for the bonus pak anyway.

If you tell me *what* part from the BonusPak is needed, I could even check to see whether this is available somewehere (or zip and mail to you if no infringements arise from that)

Hope this helps
Thomas

This is getting even more problematic, it now seems like I need Communications Manager software.

Any help in obtaining this would be really appreciated.

Best Regards.
