Multiple monitor (4 or more) support?

Hey all,

Currently I have a couple OS/2 and eCS systems running two monitors (all ATI cards). But... what I am hoping to do is set up some 4 or 6 monitor eCS or OS/2 systems. Does anyone know if there is any hardware that is supported for such installations under OS/2?

The video cards dont need to be anything fancy... as long as they can manage 1280x1024 per monitor at 24bit, then fancy acceleration and such are not needed.

Any info would be greatly appreciated...

Robert

Only some pretty old ELSA Winner Office was able to use more then just two displays I think.
Currently I think your best chance is to get one of these Matrox Dual/TrippleHead2Go boxes.
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/

The big question is: Does the box automatically use a default setting to display one big screen (output of the graphic card) on 2 or 3 screens connected to the Matrox GXM-Box or is the Matrox software needed to configurate the box?

Thanks Juergen!

Will try to contact them and see what they say. I'm guessing that maybe SNAP will just allow me to edit the resolution and the Matrox box will do the rest...

But I also wanna see if I can use two boxes on one card (have a dual output card already running)... dont see why not... and since both outputs must match under SNAP, it seems like it might just be a requirement to get it to work using a dual output card.

Will post what I find out for anyone else's benefit...
