Can anyone tell me (before I need to look up all the stuff...) whether this thing comes with a filesystem "hook" or whatever you might call it... or as an IFS somehow? I mean: Does it support on-access scanning or is it just another on-demand file-based scan? Does it scan into archives?

Thanks.

Is it possible to have Claim AV AND Dr. Web av both installed on the same computer?

What about? Thanks

Sure, the only issue involved with multiple virus scanners is if both are doing on-access scanning (files scanned as they are used).  On OS/2 Norman is the only one that I know of that could do that.  Even on windows you can have more than one Antivirus installed so long as both are not attempting to do on-access scanning (you don't really want both running scans at the same time as it would well and truly cause disk thrashing).

thanks.

BTW: are there any limit in the use of the shareware Drweb av?
