Does anyone have a copy of CA-Realia Workbench 1.0 For OS/2 ? This is the cobol,cics,db2 software package for OS/2 which was released sometime in 1995 / 1996.I would be interested in purchasing / swapping for this software. The CA-Realia Workbench 2.0 for Windows 3.1 / Win 95 does not run on Win-OS/2 as it aborts with a virtual device driver error. Can this be fixed / made to run ?

The actual error is that the CAWDCI.386 driver is not loaded. I added this line under the [386Enh] section of the file SYSTEM.INI under WinOs2 but still the same error is coming up. When the same software runs fine ne under Microsoft Windows 3.1, how come it doesnt run under Ecomstation(1.2)-WinOs2 ? Can it be made to run using Odin or any other software ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There were changes to Windows 3.1 which IBM did not include in their version.  You might try several things.

Description: Win32s v1.25 files for Win-OS/2 (WARP 3 requires warp32s.zip)

http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/windows/1mbfort.zip

Description: Windows sometimes displays a warning message telling you that there isn't enough memory to run another program when you have plenty of memory. This is caused by a lack of low memory, memory below 1MB. 1MBFort solves this problem by preventing programs from using large blocks of it. The companion utility View1MB lets you analyze low memory by providing information about free and allocated blocks.
