LAN logon (Domain)

The LAN logon (Domain) screen features entry fields for

Name
Password
Domain

The domain is pre-filled with the domain name. I've move to a new domain. How can I get the LAN logon window to pre-fill the name of the new domain instead of the old one?

...or run logon.exe along with a /D parameter to specify the domain name.
Unfortunately again, no OS/2 machine at hand - so please forgive me for the "either-this-or-that" as I don't know these things by heart and can't check. A simple logon /? will tell you what is's like. But AFAIR, it should be either
logon.exe /v:d /d:mydomain
or it's using equal signs instead of colons. Anyway:
/V:x  [x is "l" or "d"] specifies "local" or "domain" based validation
/D:nnn [nnn is the domain name] specifies the domain to use.

Example:
logon /v:l  -> will bring up "local" logon screen
logon /v:d /d:hugo  -> will bring up a logon screen with validation against the "hugo" domains server

Hope this helps. And, yeah - better check the command line syntax again using logon /? in a cmd shell. ;)

Cheers,
Thomas

Thanks for the replies.

Changing IBMLAN.INI has the desired effect. Rebooting is required for the changed domain name to take effect.

Changing the parameters of the LAN Logon properties does also fill in the new domain, but the old domain name is still stored somewhere, apparently loaded into memory using the name in IBMLAN.INI in the "domain =" line.

I also tried changing in OS2.INI the LM_WORKSTATION, PRIMARY_SRVDOM key, but that didn't work.
