Is there a "not to complicated way" to set up a VPN-connection to eg my university? There doesn't seem to exist any full-fledged programs - more like experimental programs and I've never succeded to make any of them work.

Injoy Firewall has a very good VPN support

melf

Yeah ok, should have said that I downloaded and tried their trial, but in fact never made it work. Could very well depend on me, but I can't say configuring VPN with InJoy is very userfriendly. But I guess InJoys is the best available though?

hmmm never had a problem with Injoy and i have several VPN with customers working

cytan

I have Injoy but have never figured out whether it is Cisco compatible. Is it?

I guess it depends on which method you want to use. Doesn't Injoy only support IPSec?

RobertM

Yes, it should support Cisco stuff...

The leading position is further illustrated by the fact that F/X Communications was selected by both Nortel Networks and Cisco Systems as their exclusive VPN software partner for their enterprise OS/2 customers.

For my connection, I think it's PPTP. I'm using w2k in a virtual computer to take care of VPN.
