Guys, since at 24th Century the scale will change and place warp 10 as a theoretical maximum. So Warp 7 is possible with that scale.

"By the time the Galaxy-class starship was being designed in the 2360s, warp technology had progressed to the point where speeds of warp 9.6 could be sustained for up to twelve hours, although warp 9.2 was considered the "red line". (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint") "

There are some comments for and against OS/2 Warp. I added a couple of my own.  8) It would have been nice if they had mentioned eComStation (I did in a couple of the replies/posts).  ;D

A lot of the comments in the CW article were taken from the LinkedIn group,  Team OS/2 Alumni. There are 219 members. Lot's of names I hadn't seen in a long time, and a lot of history in the discussions.

I'm think that IBM should not be allowed to do such thing.  This will crash today's hardware and software industry. If You have computer that is fast and stable and normal set of software, You probably won't buy new computer and new OS, and bunch of newer applications every next year, because nor hardware nor software have significant better characteristic in such short terms. Or You are lunatic ?
So think about people who produce hardware, new "better" and "faster" CPU and mobo every week, graphic cards, hard drives,...
And people who produce software, new office every year, new mp3 player that now can even download torrents, burning software who in newest version also do video conversion and can translate subtitles to your language, think about all those people who sell antivirus software !!!! Whoa !!!
All those people will lost their job, and become homeless.  :'(
