Hello all,

Just recently set up a Warp 4 system, after being away from OS/2 for
a few years. It's been good getting back to my favorite environment, until
yesterday.

I installed PM VNC Server, and now, when I boot up the system, the window
in which the inetd processes run gets no border (just a black window saying
"ftp tcp" in it). My WPS folder windows that were open before are still there,
but I cannot click on them, or on any desktop object. The system just beeps.

Any ideas?

The system is updated to FixPack 15, as well as the latest (free) MPTS and
TCP/IP stack (I believe 4.1?).

I tried changing the SET AUTOSTART line in CONFIG.SYS from
SET AUTOSTART=PROGRAMS,FOLDERS,TASKLIST,WARPCENTER
to
SET AUTOSTART=STARTUPFOLDERSONLY
but to no effect. I have no idea what to try next.

Here is a screenshot of the strange behavior:

Thanks in advance,
John W.

My mistake! Forgot that SET AUTOSTART and SET RESTARTOBJECTS were different.
Seems to be working now.

Now, anyone know what the AUTOSTART keyword is for the LaunchPad?

Hello, Jollis.

This should help you;

SET AUTOSTART=PROGRAMS,TASKLIST,FOLDERS,LAUNCHPAD
