Hello All,

I am looking for a SFTP server for eCS. Do we have a commercial or near commercial grade SFTP server for eCS?

TIA,
Todd

The OpenSSH option when installing eCom 2.1 has a sftp-server included with OpenSSH (haven't tried it out). OpenSSH can be found else where, probably on www.os2site.com too.

Hi Greggory,

I did not know that... I will check that out. But I think that would make it FTPS. Meaning FTP with SSL tunnel... I will check it out though.

Thank you,
Todd

Hi Todd,

Years ago I found a Java based SFTP server that I tried on my OS/2 server for a one off event, just had a quick look/search and cant see it at present.

Trying googling on "java sftp server" and see if something there runs.

Cheers
Ian

Does anyone know if it supports files greater than 2GB?

99% sure the answer is no.  It is built with emx rather than klibc.  There was an emx library available that when built against allowed file sizes greater than 2Gb file sizes but I don't know of anyone having actually used it and never heard of it being the one used here.
