Is it possible with our VBOX 1.6 to convert VPC image to VBOX? I think I've tried this years ago without success but can not remember how to do and did not find instructions anymore.

In the vbox directory there is an FAQ.OS2. It says:

"Q:  I have used VPC/2 before, and want to convert my hd images to Vbox. How do
    I do that ?
A:  We have included the nice utility Qemu-img.exe . Use it the following way
to copy your vdh images files to new images Vbox/2 can read:
    "qemu-img.exe conv vpcimage.vdh -O vmdk myvboximage.vmdk"
Note: It creates a new copy of the image, so make sure you have free space.
Note2: If you have added VPC additions to your image, try to deinstall them
before you convert the image. Vbox/2 is not that happy about them."

However I have never found that utility, but I guess it exist.

Thx, I knew I read that before but didn't find it now. I have it here - p:\VirtualBOX\Extras\Tools\qemu-img.exe. No clue if I've copied by myself there or it was in the original zip. But remember it did not work at the time I've tried it. Have to test again....

I did succeed in converting a VPC image to vbox but it was several years ago so I don't recall any specifics; so I am only posting to say that yes it can be done.  I eventually ended up dropping vbox due to lack of audio support but ran the converted image quite a bit nonetheless.
